A really good event is going to happen in sunny Portugal! An IGSA Continental race September 14-16!

This is one of my favorite spots in Lisbon! Here you have great gnarly roads, low traffic and epic landscape.

Basically this event will be 6 days of riding!
From 10th to 13th September you have a base camp where all the fun is going to happen.
These days you can freeride with other riders, explore some hills, 24 hours a day (we’ll give you some safe roads to shred) you also have the beach “Guincho” to surf (2min by skate), and tours to Lisbon and wild night party.

It´s going to be epic!!

Guincho Hill:

This is a great way to mark the end the season of European downhill skateboarding. We warmly invite all the international riders to attend. Cascais is one of the most beautiful places in Portugal, the Downhill will be at the world famous Blue Lagoon Ramp. The base area will be for Camping and Caravans for showers. There will also be a huge Chill Out Zone and during the three days there will ALWAYS be events and parties.

■ Date: 14, 15 and 16 of September, 2012

■ Location: Malvera da Serra / Zona do Guincho with Based Soccer Field and environs of the GDMS (Group Despotivo Malveira da Serra)

■ Disciplines: Downhill, Slalom, Carving/Slides, Ramp skating, Freestyle and Workshops for Beginners.

■ BASE: An area for different types of longboard, Commercial Area (for Sponsors and trade) and Recreation Zone, in the same football field, with games and amusements. Accommodation for athletes. Service restaurant and Bar, Chill Out Zone and Zone Technique.

■ Ramps: There will be two ramps: the Male, located in the section of the Blue Lagoon and Female in the section that connects the Malveira da Serra to the beach Guincho (starting in front of the base).

■ Prize Money: They are considered for both downhill races.

The Festival has a complete programme which will cover the week between days 10 and 16 September (Monday to Sunday).
The base will be open for Camping and Caravanning from Monday.

■ 10:00 am: OFFICIAL BEACH LAP_012: Reception of competitors in the Beach Bar Official LAP (Praia da Ponta da Gale – Winch) Beach Activities: Surfing / Body Board / Slack Line, etc …

Tuesday, Day 11/09:
■ 9:00/18:00: BASE: Out for Free Tour Freestyle (screenplay for subscribers).

■ 9:00 / 18:00: OFFICIAL LAP_012 BEACH: Beach Activities: Surfing / Body Board / Slack Line, etc …

Wednesday, Day 12/09:

■ 9:00/18:00: BASE: Out for Free Tour Freestyle (screenplay to provide subscribers).

■ 21.30: BEACH OFICIAL_LAP_012: Festival Sponsor.

Thursday, Day 13/09:

■ 9:00/18:00: BASE: Out for Free Tour Freestyle (screenplay to provide subscribers).

■ 12.00: Exit to Lisbon (Train or Bus). Free day in the Capital.

■ 20:00 – Concentration for Freeride in Lisbon (venue to be announced)

Friday, 14/09:

■ Proof/Freeride and Training PRO Blue Lagoon (see Testing Time)

■ 20/00 – Party / Dinner at the Base.

Saturday 15/09:
